Concealed Handgun Classes
Yes, we do the shooting exam, photographs and notary work right here as part of the package! Due to a change in State regulations, you must now contact the State for fingerprints - see the CHL link above for instructions. Ammunition is also provided. We have three instructors, and we have posted their resumes. Handgun ownership is a serious responsibility, and you should know that your training is provided by highly qualified instructors. We have them, and we are proud to say so.

Dillon Reloaders

We would be happy to demonstrate our Dillon 1050, 650, and 550 models for you. (It is really no trouble since we use them every day.)

We will configure your Dillon loader for one caliber before it leaves our store. We will also let you collect and sort range brass to get 500 rounds for your new Dillon reloader.

Student Discount
College students with a valid ID can shoot for $11 per day (taxes included). You must be 21 to rent a gun or buy ammo.

 

IDPA

IDPA at Patriot is a fun way to learn to use your pistol for self defense. We stress safety, and eveyone has a good time. You are welcome to stop by and watch, or just come a bit early and shoot with us. Coffee and donuts are provided. Please call us for details and an explanation of our safe gunhandling considerations.

This is a PISTOL RANGE (and rimfire rifles like .22). No centerfire rifles are permitted.

We are a Class II Manufacturer and a dealer of Class III weapons.

The Benefits of
Membership

Members can shoot all day, every day if they wish. Yearly rates are $275 for an individual or $350 for a family. If you plan to shoot more than twice a month, a membership is the more economical way to go. Members only need to pay for the targets they shoot. There are no extra hidden fees. Also, members have a chance to be in the rental gun drawing and buy rent guns well below the wholesale cost.

FREE GUN RENTAL and lower range fee for Women on Sunday
This is a great deal. Women can come in on Sunday, pay a just an $11 range fee (taxes included) and use a rental gun for free. Like all persons who desire to rent handguns at Patriot, women wishing to participate in the Sunday special must be proficient with a handgun (see information above regarding handgun rentals). Women who are beginners or novices are also welcome with arrangements for range-approved instruction (additional instructional fees may apply).
Gift Certificates
Yes, we are once again featuring our popular gift certificates. These are available in any amount and can be used for anything we sell or offer. Many people give Concealed Handgun Courses or a day of shooting. Stop by to get a great gift for the shooter (or new shooter) in your life.

 

Reloading Supplies
We reload ammunition for ourselves, so we are picky about quality. We have an excellent selection of reloading powder, bullets, and other supplies. We feature Accu-Zone cast bullets in all of the popular calibers.

Read This About Gun Rental

Our rental guns offer an excellent selection of Glocks, some 1911s, Springfield XDs and XDMs, and Ruger pistols. You must be proficient with a handgun to rent a pistol at the range. Be prepared to demonstrate your proficiency before rental. And please don't take offense at the questioning; we want everyone to be safe at the range. For those people who are not proficient, we highly recommend a two-hour session with our excellent instructor. You will learn the shoot the right way and the safe way and you will have confidence in what you are doing.

Only Patriot Instructors Allowed

The Patriot instructors for Concealed Handgun Licensing, Basic Handgun and Competition classes have decades of combined experience which encompasses law enforcement and military small arms and/or Expert Classifications in IDPA and USPSA and/or winners of state, national and international defensive pistol championships. Not to mention National Rifle Association (NRA) instructor certifications in Basic Pistol, Personal Protection in the Home and Range Safety Officer. While we could go on and on, let it suffice to say that the instructors employed by Patriot are credentialed professionals with proven track records and years of experience. While all positions are currently filled, any applicants with credentials that meet or exceed those of our current staff of instructors are welcome to apply.

Patriot Family Shooting Center embraces the concept that safe and enjoyable shooting occurs only as the result of competent instruction, proper training and practice. Because Patriot Family Shooting Center cannot and will not assume any liability for instruction provided by unauthorzed and/or non-range-approved persons or instructors, any such instruction is strictly prohibited in this facility.

We sell high-quality, de-primered range brass for 3 to 10 cents per piece depending on caliber.
